End of Summer
Well, the high temp here today was 57, the leaves are peaking, and we're running out of firewood, so I guess the time has come to trek back to Florida.
We will be driving across ME to NH, than down past Mt Washington (23 up there this morning), across the Kakamangus Highway (Two lanes, as are most NH "highways") and down the Connecticut River to Brattleburo VT. The next day down to the Mass Pike, across to NY and the Taconik Parkway (no trucks) and across the Hudson into PA. Down through the Hills to Winchester VA. Next day down the Shenandoah Vally and Blue Ridge Parkway to Sylvia NC.
Last day the length of central GA, being careful to miss any cities or towns of more than 5000. We live about 20 miles south of the GA border and should be home by Friday evening.
As you can see we go the scenic route.

Welcome back to the deep south.
RYC, Coulter manages to grab a headline once in a while. She knows what she's doing. Her comments really don't raise an eyebrow for me. I've heard them all before, and much worse, from people who were being a hell of a lot more serious than she is.
RYMovie, I had to laugh at that one. The hysterical, frothing-at-the-mouth response of some on the liberal end of the spectrum is exactly what Coulter is going for, and she gets it every time. Read the comments thread on any forum carrying this story - you could make a drinking game out of how many times Hitler gets mentioned.
I'm doing okay - I'm getting my n00b teeth kicked in at work for the time being. Hopefully things will settle down before much longer.
I really liked your blog post.Really thank you! Really Great.
